The Home of the Spurs

San Antonio is more than just a place where the sun shines bright even at night. San Antonio is the home of the San Antonio Spurs, a great NBA team who perennially competes for the NBA title. When I visited San Antonio, I did not miss the chance to watch a live Spurs game. I watched game 3 of the NBA Finals at the AT&T Center. The feeling is overwhelming and it is a lot different than the feeling you get when watching the game on TV. The crowd is supporting the home team from start to finish and I can say that Texans are really loyal Spurs fans. Aside from watching the Spurs game, I also got the chance to visit the Alamo. This is a historic place where the Mexican troops launched an assault on the Alamo Mission in 1836. Take a short walk from the Alamo and you will see the Tower of the Americas, the tallest building in San Antonio, The observation deck on the tower allows visitors to see the whole of San Antonio. The San Antonio River Walk is also a must-see for tourists. The River Walk is a network of walkways where plenty of restaurants and hotels reside. Visitors can take a cruise along the San Antonio River and see the different establishments along River Walk.
