One of the states making up America’s bread basket, and as people know it is basically one enormous field. There are slight changes in the landscape as the western half of the state is at a higher altitude so there are some rolling hills and other pretty formation, but that does not change the fact that an overwhelming part of the state is corn and soy bean fields. Most of the towns are really small and focus on supporting the farming community with tractor stores and seed buying center. Some of the larger cities like Wichita have a real old American charm to them, but with the exception of Kansas city (that straddles the Missouri border) they are very small and can be covered in a couple of hours.
