Hitchhiking across Colorado
by Jorge Sanchez - 4 years ago
The last driver dropped me in Denver downtown, not far from Greyhound station, where I expected to spend the night. But it was closed but several homeless people were sleeping on cardboards on the floor. I joined them and at 6 AM when it was opened the Greyhound premises and could drink a hot coffee from a machine and eat a donut.
That day was spent in exploring the town and the next one I continued my journey and finally, after traversing Colorado Springs and wonderful countryside, like in the old films about the Far West, I reached Santa Fe, in New Mexico.
