Crossing twice the border between Northern Cape and Namibia

I love to cross borders overland, especially in Africa; they offer you a lot of adventure. Even without crossing the country you can guess what is to be expected by the way the Immigration agents treat you, or by the atmosphere that you find around.
I have been in Northern Cape twice. The first one just crossed this South African province by bus, from Cape Town, in transit to the border with Namibia, and entered that country through Noordoewer. That was on the 2th June 1996.
Six days later I returned to Northern Cape, that time through the Namibian border of Ariamsvlei. I spent the night in Kimberley, visited its main tourist’s attractions in the next morning, and in the afternoon I headed to Bloemfontein.
