This small country is an amazingly pretty little getaway from the much hotter areas of southern France and the greater Barcelona region. The beauty of Pyreneans is essentially one major road with half a dozen small towns on it, squeezed in between a couple of mountain ranges. I visited in mid-June when the wild flowers were in full bloom and it was absolutely stunning. Started in the French town of Toulouse, took a bus to L’Hospitalet Pre L’Andorre where I spent the night sleeping in a rural playground. In the morning I took a minibus into Andorra proper. After I was done with the country, I exited through one of the minibus services to La Tour De Carol from where I took a train to Barcelona.
