In April 2009 I was visiting my cousin in Londra.A morning
after arrival we went for a walk in London.
We took the subway to Waterloo station where we started walking .
I went through Jubilee Gardens and we stopped at the London Eye which is
impresionant. We did a tour in London Eye , after we passed the Thames to see
the Parliament Palace and Westminster Bridge.I saw Big Ben , the iconic
of the Clock Tower , after which we started on Whitehall and passing the Horse
Guards , where we admired the guards ride , we arrived in Trafalgar Square.
I visited Trafalgar Square, where we admired Nelson 's column , then
I went on Northumberland Avenue and I went back on Thames Hungerford Bridge.
I walked past the National Theatre and then visited the Tate Modern
one of the temples of the contemporary art world that has permanent collections
rich with works by the greatest names in modern art.
Then we visited the International Shakespeare Globe Center, raised
materials and techniques similar to those of vintage replica 's
Globe Theater , destroyed 1644.Walking by the Thames I
visited a replica of Sir Francis Drake 's ship and took pictures on London Bridge
City Pier.We visited the HMS Belfast , a cruiser of War
World anchored upstream of Tower Bridge since 1971 .
Going further down the Thames I saw City Hall, the City Hall , building glass
curved where you can see the silhouette of neo-Gothic and drawbridge known in the world
whole of Tower Bridge.
Going over Tower Bridge , we saw the Tower of London ,
Construction begun by William the Conqueror in 1067 .
It says it's haunted by the spirits of the unjustly convicted .
From here we went to St . Katherine 's Docks, a delightful small harbor , surrounded by
offices, shops, restaurants and apartments .
Tired but very excited by this ride a great day
April , sunny and just a few clouds, atypical for London in
this time of year we retired into a small restaurant for lunch.
