1. Burj Khalifa
This current tallest manmade standing structure of the world is 2722ft tall and was named in the honor of the ruler of the UAE, Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Inspired in design by the traditional Islamic structure, Burj Khalifa has an observation deck at a height of 1483 ft. that allows the visitors to soak in the stunning views from literally, the top of the world. The structure has numerous records in its name including the world’s highest and fastest elevator, highest number of stories in a building, highest occupied floor, and more. 2. Jumeirah Beach

4. Dubai Fountain

It has surpassed the Bellagio fountain in Las Vegas. Built on a colossal man-made lake, the fountain is 275 meters long (almost equivalent to the length of two football fields). The fountain is capable of spraying 83000 liters of water in the air at any given time and can jet the water spray to a maximum height of 150 meters (approximately to a height of a 50 storey building). The fountain uses over 6,600 lights and 25 color projectors to beautify its amazing themed dances.
5. Palm Islands
You need to take a helicopter ride over the Palm islands or try sky- diving over it to completely immerse in the beauty of the world’s largest man-made island, apparently, visible even from space. An outcome of intricate planning and immense hard work, the palm islands are built in a shape of a palm tree with 16 fronds and a crescent on top to further add to its beauty. Along with the seven million tons of rocks, the Palm Island has used over a 100 million cubic meters of sand for its Palm shape. It stretches about seven kilometers in the Arabian gulf and has added almost 180 kilometers to the Dubai shoreline. Palm islands is a creation never witnessed before in the world.
6. Dubai Aquarium and underwater zoo

Dubai’s massive expansion was a government decision from shifting its image from an oil exporter to a major tourist destination. The project however ambitious, was a very risky one.
