Hitchhiking successfully from Galway to Cork

by Jorge Sanchez - 1 year ago

In Northern Ireland I was afraid to hitchhike and to sleep in the gardens, but once in the Republic of Ireland I practiced this unique way of transport and slept in gardens or parks without being molested by the Police or the youngsters.

Because I made several stops along the road to visit charming little towns plus the Cliffs or Moher, I arrived at the end of the afternoon to Cork and did not see much of the city that day. In the morning I walked around and was somewhat disappointed because I had more expectations of Cork instead I found an anodyne city from the point of view of a tourist, therefore at about midday I continued my journey hitchhiking to the north with a stop in Cashel to visit the fantastic ruins of its castle.
