There is not much particular to see in Syzran, although you can find some nice places here. I spent a few hours there, walking through the city centre. There is a very nice public beach on Volga river, full of people despite of the weekday. The main street of the town is Leninskaya, with clacissistic town hall and a statue of Lenin. The nicest building in the town is the renovated theatre of Aleksey Tolstoy. Aleksey was one of the most notable men with links to Syzran, as he studied in the local high school.
