For the first time in my life I saw the Syr Darya river. I loved Kyzylorda. I spent about 20 hours in Kyzylorda. I arrived at about 2PM and left at about midday the next day, to Karaganda, by train (a spanish train, called TALGO). I slept in the railway station in Kyzylorda, the best places to sleep in Kazakhstan, where you meet local people who tell you about their country; these people are better than a travel guide. Those places are cheap, about 5 euro in a bed. Showers are apart, for about 400 tenge, or 1 euro. All kazakh people can speak russian, so you can communicate with them. Remember that the real traveler speaks the 6 official languages of the United Nations (Spanish, English, French, Chinese, Arabic and Russian). Being a real traveler is something very important in life, it is an art, but many aficionados are degrading this noble activity.
