Finally, after 40 stops in its railway station, I visited downtown Petropavl

by Jorge Sanchez - 8 months ago

I had crossed Petropavl railway station so many times during my about 40 journeys by train from Moscow to Vladivostok and viceversa, with a stop of about half an hour to drink delicious kumis, that I wanted to get to know the city for a full day. That is why in the year 2017 I got off the train between the russian cities of Omsk and Kurgan, left my bag in the dormitory hostel inside the Petropavl railway station and devoted the full day to discover the town of Petropavl, starting for its religious buildings, christian and muslim. The next day I left by train and bus to my next Kazakhstan region, Kostanay.
