I liked Kostanay, a city by the shores of the river Tobol. As it was my responsability as a traveler, I visited the main tourist attractions, its museums and also the banks of the river Tobol. After that I became hungry and entered a restaurant (called Khalal) where I ordered the Kazakh national dish Beshbarmak, made with horse meat. I was invited when the owners saw that I was a foreigner from Spain. The dish was delicious!
Since my train to my next Kazakhstan destination (Aktobe) was early in the morning the next day, I resolved to sleep that night near its railway station, in a closed village named Tobil (like the river Tobol).
