Litomyšl Castle (UNESCO site)

by Jorge Sanchez - 8 months ago

I arrived at this castle after 4 hours journey by train and hitchhiking from pleasant Kudowa-Zdroj, in Poland, where I had slept the previous night in a cosy hostel. Once in Litomysl railway station I walked up a hill for about 10 minutes until I found the famous castle. It was closed; it uses to be closed during winter (I visited Litomysl in february 2017), what I did not know.

Anyway I enjoyed walking around it, admiring its external forms. In the afternoon I would travel to Brno to spend the night.
