Landing in Peter I Island with the icebreaker Kapitan Khlebnikov

by Jarl Hardenmark - 2 years, 1 month ago

Peter I is, probably, the most difficult island to disembark out of the 14 Guinness Territories.

I arrived there in the icebreaker Kapitan Khlebnikov in the year 1999.

This uninhabited island, located in the Bellingshausen Sea, is claimed by Norway, thus forming part of Norwegian Antarctica.
