An alternative way to discover the Usti nad Labem region

Many that have visited the Czech Republic may have been to Prague and other popular areas in the historical territory of Bohemia. I have lived in Prague for a few years now. But if you are looking for a truly alternative way to discover parts of the region, in particular the Usti nad Labem region, then I may have a tip or two. Although I assume this may not be for the faint-hearted, I recently had the amazing opportunity to get a birds-eye-view of Panensky Tynec (a small town not far from the town of Louny) and the surrounding area. It may be fair to think that this area is not the most exciting of places to visit, but I can assure you that after paragliding there.... you may change your mind. I went up into the air on an very sunny day, making it possible to get an amazing view of the landscape. I do not call myself an adrenaline junkie but I can say that in that moment there was definitely a lot of adrenaline pumping through me and it was the kind of experience that I would love to have over and over again. It is something absolutely memorable and I think the pictures tell their own tale. After finally setting foot back on the ground, I couldn't go without visiting Panensky Tynec's unfinished gothic church. Which is really an amazing structure with a bit of a spooky look. Despite the look, the church is actually said to have unusual energy surrounding it. In fact, it is rumored that it has a healing power and very positive energy. Though I can't confirm that I felt any particular type of energy, there still were many there meditating and forming circles so they could benefit from that energy. It was a very interesting sight to see, and I would highly recommend going there for a visit.
