I came in from northern Denmark on the catamaran, it takes a little more than 2 hours. There was a customs control and the women there found it very suspicious that I only had a tiny little bag with me and actually searched all my stuff and asked all sorts of questions that are not very Schengen-like. But it all ended fine. Kristiansand is small and sweet. There are many Somalis and Middle-Eastern people living there and it may seem that during the day there are more of these than Norwegians. As everywhere in Norway prices are prohibitive, and with the little old Norwegian change I had I managed to get half a sandwich at Subways. I walked down the pretty streets and found a nice cove or two and an old fortress which is closed. The place is worth a few hours and then you can move along, like I did.
